Service Description
This is not your typical yoga class. Yin Yoga works the deeper, more subtle layers of the body — your joints, connective tissue, and tendons. By holding poses for several minutes at a time, we gently stimulate circulation and support the body’s energetic meridian lines. The result? A profound sense of release and ease. Yin Yoga is guided by three principles: • Come into the pose at an appropriate depth • Resolve to remain still • Hold for time You create your own challenge — and then practice staying with it. Expect to walk out feeling a shift in your body. After my first Yin class (a hip-opening sequence), my feet felt more connected to the floor. I was hooked. The practice is reflective and a wonderful opportunity to focus on joint mobility. We have plenty of bolsters, blocks, and straps to help make poses more accessible.
